Rome's First King 753 BCE
Romulus wanted his first city to be near the Tiber River because it gave them many advantages to many things , but also disadvantages. Some advantages where he was able to trade with others really easily, he could get to other place faster than by walking, and he could get water for bathing, drinking, farming and much more. Living near the river has disadvantages to like his enemies could sail up the river and attack them, sometime will using there water for every thing dead bacteria or viruses could get in it and make it unsafe, and if a large ship with things for trading gets in a wreck they could lose all of their stuff. Luckily, it paid of to Romulus in the end because his city grew into becoming a very large and great empire.
