The Legacies of Greece really impacted the world we know today:
Sports: Sports in Ancient Greece have influenced us and we still us the Olympics just like they did to.

Warfare: We use many techniques they used to use like they where one of the first people to use horses in war. today we use horse for police Calvary.
Philosophy and Literature: Without Greek literature we really wouldn't know anything about ancient Greece because it was written down in books.

Laine O’Shaughnessy’s Legacy
To me a legacy is a tradition or activity an ancestor or someone else from the past has done and now you do. Some legacies are more popular than others like brushing your teeth every morning and every night. Some one had to of started it and we didn’t wake up on day and say to our self that we need to brush our teeth everyday and night. That person probably didn’t either. They most likely started once a day than twice and once they thought it was perfect they told some people who told more people and it goes on until almost everyone on the earth knows about it. We are most likely to start a small legacy like telling our kids a story on Christmas Eve, but no one can really predicted the future, who knows I could create a new legacy about brushing your teeth 3 times a day.
If I were able to create a legacy I would want it to always help out others. No matter how big or small their problem would be like help out with charity or picking up something someone has dropped. I would hope my kids would learn that lesson and teach their kids and their kids kids. My family's legacy is that every Christmas Eve my dad would read me and my sister “The Night Before Christmas”. I would want this legacy to stay alive because in the future when there are no more books they would be able to see how much joy a real book could bring. Without this legacy to me I would feel like Christmas would not be that special.
Without legacies the world would not know how to do some ordinary things we do all the time.. We wouldn’t do the things that our ancestors did. Sometimes legacies can hold you back. You are caught in doing the same thing you can’t experience new things or live an awesome life
